What Response Did Borrell Give to Ukraine's Decision to Attack the Kursk Region?
The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, welcomed Ukraine's decision to attack the Kursk region. He called on Western countries to lift all restrictions on the use of supplied weapons.
"Restrictions on the use of weapons for Ukraine's self-defense must be completely lifted. The equipment that we supply to Ukraine must be fully utilized so that Ukraine can strike the locations from where Russia is attacking them," Borrell said in Brussels, ahead of an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers. He attended the meeting along with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, TASS reports.
The European diplomacy chief noted that the "first agenda item" of the meeting in Brussels would be the supply of air defense equipment to Ukraine.
