Brazilian Federal Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes has sent a notice to American entrepreneur Elon Musk, instructing him to appoint a new legal representative for X company in Brazil within 24 hours. According to a statement published on the court's website, failure to comply will result in the suspension of the social network's operations in the republic.

"The notice was sent through a publication on the official page of the Federal Supreme Court on the social network," the statement reads. All the accusations against Musk are related to "obstruction of justice, criminal organization, and incitement to crime."

X social media recently announced that it is shutting down its operations in Brazil. The administration explained that the decision was made due to Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes issuing a "secret order" for the arrest of the company's representative in the country. The company clarified that the social network will remain accessible in Brazil.
