In Which Countries Will Armenia's Ambassadors Be Replaced?
The government has begun considering the replacement of Armenia's extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors in France, Switzerland, and Austria. This information was reported by the newspaper 'Hraparak'.
'Khosrov Harutyunyan's son-in-law, Armen Papikyan, will be moved from Austria to Strasbourg as Armenia's permanent representative to the Council of Europe, while the current permanent representative Arman Khachatryan will be transferred to Paris. The ambassador in France, Hasmik Tolmajyan, is likely to move to Switzerland, and the UN representative Mher Margaryan will be relocated to Vienna,' the paper reported.
The newspaper also mentions that a rotation is expected among ambassadors serving in Arab countries.
It is worth noting that on August 16, 'Hraparak' reported that Armenian Ambassador to Ukraine Vladimir Karapetyan is set to be transferred to Italy. Currently, according to the newspaper, Karapetyan is serving unlawfully, as his term has expired two months ago.
