Hovik Aghazaryan Comments on Pashinyan's Cycling
If you noticed, the Prime Minister's cycling activity coincided with the escalation of tensions in Israel and Palestine. It is highly likely that this step was thought out to engage in active sports during his free time from work, which will help in restoring energy, relaxing the body, and in this way, the Prime Minister can better immerse himself in managing the challenges that have arisen in front of Armenia and may arise in the future.
This was noted by Hovik Aghazaryan, a member of the National Assembly from the ‘Civil Contract’ faction, in an interview with NEWS.am.
He pointed out that cycling will become very relevant in Yerevan in the near future, considering the traffic jams.
Referring to the recent processes initiated against the mayors of Syunik, Aghazaryan stated that a legal process is occurring. “If any politician—whether in power or opposition—circumvents the law and legal proceedings are initiated against that person, they will say, ‘I expressed such an opinion that day, and that’s why I’m being persecuted.’ But that’s not correct. How can we distinguish between these two cases? Therefore, there needs to be a process; legal proceedings are necessary,” he added.
