US Does Not Recognize Taiwan's Independence and Sticks to 'One China' Principle, Sullivan
The US does not recognize Taiwan's independence and is committed to the 'One China' principle, stated Jake Sullivan, the US National Security Adviser, during talks with China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Sullivan remarked that the United States is committed to the 'One China' policy and does not support the principles of 'Taiwan independence', 'two Chinas', or 'one China, one Taiwan', according to a statement from China's Foreign Ministry regarding the negotiations.
