Pavel Durov Suspected of Child Abuse

Pavel Durov is being investigated for alleged child abuse in France. According to AFP, citing a source, the National Police Office for the Protection of Minors (OFMIN) has launched an investigation against Durov due to suspicions of violence against one of his minor children.

The allegations reportedly involve "serious violence" that he supposedly inflicted on one of his underage children. Forbes previously reported that Irina Bolgar, who identifies herself as the mother of Durov's three children, has filed a lawsuit against him in Switzerland. The woman claims that Durov has physically abused their youngest son and has ceased payments of alimony amounting to €150,000 for the child.
