Kazan Airport Temporarily Suspends Operations

Kazan Airport has temporarily suspended its operations, as reported by the Federal Agency for Air Transport. The airport is not accepting flights for landing and takeoff.

As explained by the agency, this action has been taken to ensure the safety of flights for civilian aircraft.

"Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the operation of Kazan Airport as of the morning of August 28. The air hub will not accept or carry out flights starting from 07:00 Moscow time," the federal agency stated.
