According to the BBC's Russian service, areas including Kherson, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Sumy, Poltava, Chernigov, and Zhytomyr were targeted.

One person died and two were injured due to a kamikaze drone strike in Zaporizhzhia. The head of the Zaporizhzhia regional administration reported seven drone strikes, which also damaged homes and caused wildfires in open areas.

In Kryvyi Rih, two people were killed as a result of a missile strike on a hotel. According to local authorities, in addition to the hotel, nearby buildings, shops, and vehicles were damaged by the explosion.

It has also been reported that a third Russian MiG-31 aircraft launched a Kinzhal hypersonic missile at Ukraine. The first two missiles were fired towards western Ukraine, with no information on their impact yet. The third Kinzhal reached the Starokonstantinov district in Khmelnytskyi region, where explosions were heard. A military airfield is located near Starokonstantinov, and the area is frequently targeted by Russian forces.

Russia has been conducting mass attacks on Ukraine for the second consecutive day.

As of July 26, the total number of casualties from the attacks had reached seven, with 47 people injured, according to Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that on July 26, Russia fired at least 127 missiles and 109 drones at the country. Ukraine's Air Force reported that it managed to intercept 102 missiles and 99 drones.
