Vachagan Hovhannisyan Becomes Arm Wrestling World Champion

Vachagan Hovhannisyan from Armenia has won the title of world champion at the arm wrestling championships held in the capital of Moldova, Chișinău, competing in the 70 kg weight category.
The Armenian arm wrestler claimed the championship title by defeating Kazakhstan's Nurbolat Basimbek in the finals. In this weight class, Armenia's Azat Srapyan secured the bronze medal.
Earlier in May, Vachagan Hovhannisyan had also been crowned the European champion.
