Situation at Lebanon-Israel Border Worrisome: UN

The United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon (UNSCOL) and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) have described the developments at the Lebanon-Israel border as concerning. They have called on all parties to cease fire and refrain from further escalation, according to a statement.

On Sunday night, Israel and the Hezbollah group in southern Lebanon exchanged strikes again. Hezbollah announced this morning that it launched over 320 rockets towards Israel overnight, targeting several military positions. The Israeli army asserts it has carried out preventive strikes against the group.
