Tel Aviv Opens All Bomb Shelters, Cancels Public Events
Authorities in Tel Aviv have opened all public bomb shelters in the city and canceled public events. This was reported by Ria Novosti, referencing the city's press service.
Tel Aviv has 240 public bomb shelters. Meanwhile, cultural institutions and beaches have been closed, and major city events have been canceled.
Earlier, Israel's Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant announced that the country has declared a state of emergency for 48 hours following a preemptive strike against targets of the Hezbollah movement.
