More than 340 People Evacuated from Kursk Region

In the past 24 hours, more than 340 people have left the Kursk region for safe areas, according to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"In the last 24 hours, more than 340 people have departed through organized columns and independently during the evacuation of border residents," the report states.

It is also noted that 197 temporary accommodation centers are operating in 28 regions of the republic. More than 11,500 people continue to stay there, including over 3,500 children. More than 7,000 people are located in temporary holding areas in the Kursk region. Over 100 tons of humanitarian aid is delivered to the region daily, and more than 3,000 tons of humanitarian assistance have been received during the emergency situation.
