Short-Term Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in Some Areas

Beginning from the afternoon of August 26, isolated areas of the Republic are expected to experience short-term rain and thunderstorms during the nights of the 23rd to the 25th and again in the afternoon. Weather without precipitation is expected on August 27.

The wind will be coming from the southwest at speeds of 2-5 m/s, with gusts increasing to 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms. In the evening hours, wind intensification of 14-18 m/s is expected in Armavir, as well as the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn from August 23 to 27.

There will be no significant changes in temperature. In Yerevan, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in some areas of the city during the evening hours of August 23 and 25. Weather without precipitation is also expected on August 24, and 26-27.

Winds are forecasted to strengthen to 14-18 m/s during the evening hours from August 23 to 27.
