No Armenian Cargo on Ferry Sunk at 'Kavkaz' Port

No cargo of Armenian origin or destined for Armenia was on the ferry that sank due to a missile strike at the Russian 'Kavkaz' port. This was reported by Armenpress, citing the Armenian Ministry of Economy.

The ministry also stated that the destruction of the Russian ferry will not affect Armenia's economy in any way.

It is worth noting that according to Russian media, on the afternoon of August 22, the Ukrainian armed forces struck the 'Kavkaz' port in the Krasnodar region of Russia with a Storm Shadow missile, causing the 'Akvatrayder' ferry to catch fire and sink shortly after. The ferry was carrying 30 tons of fuel. Approximately 500 square meters of the area were engulfed in flames, causing significant damage to the port.

The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry reported that 17 crew members of the ferry were rescued. As of the latest information, the whereabouts of one person remain unknown.
