Karlen Demirchyan Sports Complex Refuses to Provide Hall for Sacred Move, Now Distorting Facts

The Karlen Demirchyan Sports Complex has issued a statement that distorts the facts. This was stated by Armenian National Assembly member Garnik Danielyan on his Facebook page.

"I reaffirm once again that the management of the Sports Complex has actually refused to provide a hall for the Sacred Movement's event. During this time, I have continuously tried to contact the management to understand the reasons for the refusal. In a conversation with me, the director of the Sports Complex, Karen Ghazaryan, justified the refusal by citing other existing agreements. I suggested discussing alternative options. Karen Ghazaryan proposed to discuss possible options during a meeting, which has not taken place due to his evasive behavior. Thus, it has been practically impossible to book the hall for the Sacred Struggle event." Regarding the hall provision for the ARF's event, as mentioned by Karen Ghazaryan, it is important to note that the ARF officially applied to the Sports Complex to hold an event dedicated to the independence day of Artsakh on September 2nd, having received approval and even signed a contract. However, a few days after signing the contract, the management of the Sports Complex refused to provide the hall to the ARF for the event, citing illogical reasons that they had other prior agreements. As an alternative, they presented the option of holding the event on September 4th, which was understandably rejected. Therefore, with several instances, the management of the Sports Complex has exhibited irresponsible behavior, even violating the previously established agreements and the signed contract. These facts indicate that the issue lies not in the convenient days, but rather in the management's predisposition towards sabotaging events organized by opposition forces."
