VIDEO. "Does this mean the state should engage in livestock farming? Who will do it, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs?" - Pashinyan

During the discussion of a program to promote livestock farming, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan raised the question of whether it would not be better for the state to purchase cattle and then sell them to farmers at half the price. In response to Mirzoyan's statement, the Prime Minister noted, "If the state buys them, where will it keep that number of animals? How long will that last? Half of them will die. This means that the state should engage in livestock farming, even if just for a week. Who will do that? The Ministry of Foreign Affairs? Are they taking on the responsibility for that? No, it's better for you to stick to your own work," the Prime Minister joked, adding that this approach would not solve the problem, but rather create new issues.
