Shooting in Yerevan: 29-Year-Old Man Hospitalized with Gunshot Wounds

On August 15, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Aragatsotn province. The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call from the "Ashtarak" Medical Center, reporting that a citizen had received treatment for a "ballistic superficial gunshot wound to the tissue around the left shoulder joint" but did not disclose the circumstances of how the injury was sustained.

According to Shamshyan.com, it was determined that the injured individual was 29-year-old David Sh. from the Aragatsotn province. It was also clarified that David Sh. sustained the gunshot wound on August 13, between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM, in the Silikian neighborhood of Yerevan, by an unknown assailant.

Documents related to the incident have been prepared by the Ashtarak police department and transferred to the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia for the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative regions in Yerevan.
