Russia Warns of Immediate Severe Response if Ukraine Strikes Kursk Nuclear Power Plant

Russia will take immediate severe response measures if Kyiv strikes the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant and triggers a man-made catastrophe of radioactive contamination, the Russian Ministry of Defense has stated.

“If the Kyiv regime carries out its criminal plan aimed at creating a man-made disaster resulting in radioactive contamination over vast areas in continental Europe, then immediate severe military and military-technical response measures will be undertaken,” the Russian Defense Ministry declared.

The ministry added that they are taking independent information regarding preparations by Ukraine to attack the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant with due seriousness.
