Armenia's Ministry of Defense Responds to Azerbaijan's Statement

The statement issued by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense does not reflect reality. This was announced by Armenia's Ministry of Defense.

'The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense's statement that, on August 15 at 18:10, Armenian Armed Forces units opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the southwestern section of the border is untrue,' the Armenian Ministry of Defense stated.

It was also reminded that the Prime Minister's Office of the Republic of Armenia has proposed through diplomatic channels to the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan to create a bilateral mechanism for investigating cases of ceasefire violations.
