Targeting the 8th Grade History Textbook: Historian

Historian Hayk Demoyan raises an alarm: “The second act of national disgrace comes from the Ministry of Education and Science and the 'Participatory School'. Along with historian Smbat Hovhannisyan, they may have thought for a moment that they managed to digest the glaring disgrace and corrupt practices contained in the 7th grade 'History of Armenia' textbook. Now, another example of disgrace and incompetence enters the public arena — this time in the form of the 8th grade 'History of Armenia' textbook.

Based on information from press releases and other sources, the Ministry of Education and Science has once again remained true to its modus operandi, shamelessly engaging in actions that harbor corrupt risks. As expected, they are presenting yet another blunder to the students, alongside the 7th grade 'History of Armenia' textbook.

Here are a few 'innocent mistakes' found in the textbook with an editor: ‘King Levon V’, ‘Founders of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation’, ‘Urbatagirk: the first book printed in Armenian.’ I will publish a complete review covering all aspects of this national disgrace on Friday. This is already called repeat offense, ladies and gentlemen…”
