Accident Involving Ambulance Transporting Pregnant Woman in Gyumri

Today, August 14, an accident involving an ambulance occurred. Around 09:50, at the intersection of Garegin Nzhdeh and Piroshyan streets, the ambulance registered to the Gyumri Medical Center collided with an Opel vehicle.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, the ambulance doctor, a nurse, the pregnant woman being transported, and the driver of the Opel were all taken to the Gyumri Medical Center.

The collision caused the vehicles to veer off the roadway and end up on the sidewalk designated for pedestrians.

In connection with the accident, a criminal case has been initiated by the Shirak regional investigative department, which is working to establish the identities of the drivers and the injured parties. Preliminary reports suggest that the ambulance was at fault for the accident.
