Ukraine Not Interested in Seizing Russia's Kursk Region, Says Foreign Ministry

Ukraine is not interested in capturing the Kursk region, where Ukrainian defense forces are currently conducting operations. This statement was made by Georgy Tikhiy, spokesperson for Ukraine's Foreign Ministry.

“Unlike Russia, Ukraine does not need what belongs to others. Ukraine is not interested in the issue of taking the Kursk region, but we want to protect the lives of our people,” he said. He expressed regret that Ukraine does not have the ability to launch long-range strikes on Russian territory with the weaponry it currently possesses.
