We will appeal to the Lausanne court if the IOC does not rule in favor of Artur Aleksanyan. This was stated by Karen Giloian during a conversation with reporters at Zvartnots Airport.

“We have appealed and we have a valid appeal. I hope that the referees were mistaken with 100 percent accuracy, rather than doing it intentionally. I have hopes that ultimately, the IOC will make a decision; if they do not, we will turn to the Lausanne court. It was evident that gold needed to be delivered to Artur, and I hope that the truth will prevail. There are possibilities; we have studied this, and several times during the Olympic Games gold medals have been returned or a second gold has been awarded. We have no eyes on their gold medal; let them give our gold medal to us,” he said.
