VIDEO: 13.5 Tons of Chicken Meat Buried by the Customs Committee Unearthed and Moved to Storage

The employees of the Internal Security Department of the State Revenue Committee and the Customs Service of the Committee recently participated in the destruction of 13,500 kg of chicken meat by the company "Armen-Hamik Brothers," as reported by the agency. The operation took place in Kotayk village of the Akunk community based on the relevant conclusion provided by the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia.

The disposal of the products was carried out by burial. "On the same day, after the burial of unfit products, it was discovered by the employees of the Internal Security and Investigation and Operational Intelligence Departments of the SRC that representatives of the mentioned company visited the disposal site and used construction equipment to excavate the ground and remove the buried chicken meat, which was then transported to the premises of 'Armen-Hamik Brothers' LLC," the statement read.

As a result of operational and investigative measures, employees of the Internal Security and Investigation and Operational Intelligence Departments discovered the excavated products in the storage refrigerators of 'Armen-Hamik Brothers' LLC, where the boxes showed obvious traces of soil. Relevant records were created, and samples were taken. Based on the materials prepared regarding the incident, a report was submitted to the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
