Armenian 'Arbat' Battalion Deploys to Kursk to Engage in Combat with Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Armenian 'Arbat' battalion has been deployed to the Kursk region since August 7 to engage in combat alongside the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“We are here to drive out the barbarians. We are fighting for our homeland,” stated a fighter in an interview with a Sputnik correspondent.

The 'Arbat' volunteer battalion has existed since 2014, when defense efforts began for Donbas. Currently, the unit has effectively become multinational. “Everyone is like brothers, we are one family,” they added.
