Biden Warns Trump May Challenge Election Results Again

US President Joe Biden is skeptical about the possibility of a peaceful transfer of power in the country if Republican Donald Trump loses to Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential elections in November. As justification for his concerns, Biden cited Trump's statements suggesting that “if he loses, then the elections will have been stolen.” This was reported by cnn.com.

Quoting the former US president, Joe Biden stated, “He speaks seriously, but we do not take him seriously... all the talk about ‘if we lose, there will be bloodshed, the elections will be stolen.’”

Donald Trump warned in March that if he were to lose in the 2024 elections, it would lead to “bloodshed” for the US auto industry and the country as a whole. Biden and his campaign quickly responded, asserting that the former president is inciting political violence.

Biden also warned that Trump is preparing to contest the election results again in November, as he did in 2020. Biden emphasized, “You can’t love your country only when you win.”
