US Not Aware of Ukrainian Armed Forces Plans in Kursk Region: State Department

The US State Department claims that the United States was not previously informed about the Ukrainian Armed Forces' offensive plans in the Kursk region.

"The US is in communication with Ukraine to understand their plans regarding this operation," stated the Department.

It is noted that earlier reports indicated that the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, announced that the advance of the Ukrainian armed forces in border regions has been halted.
