Olympic Games 2024: Today Armenia Has Three Participants

On August 7, wrestlers Artur Aleksanyan, Slavik Galstyan, and athlete Yervand Mkrtchyan will enter competition at the 33rd Summer Olympic Games.

According to a report by Armenpress, Slavik Galstyan, a Greco-Roman wrestler, will face his first opponent, Andres Montano from Ecuador, in the 67 kg weight category. In the evening competition, starting at 20:15 Yerevan time, Artur Aleksanyan will compete for his second Olympic gold medal. He won his previous three matches on August 6.

Furthermore, at 13:55 Yerevan time, athlete Yervand Mkrtchyan will make his Olympic debut at the Stade de France, competing in the 800 meters race. He is included in the third heat.
