Russia Supports the Process of Normalizing Relations Between Armenia and Azerbaijan - Shoigu
Today, on August 6, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Sergey Shoigu, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
According to Azerbaijani media, Shoigu stated in Baku that Russia supports the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. During the meeting, the Russian Security Council Secretary also emphasized the successful development of relations between the countries in the fields of regional security, military-technical cooperation, transport, and the economy.
Additionally, the prospects for cooperation in the "3+3" format were discussed. Ilham Aliyev, for his part, mentioned that the relations between Azerbaijan and Russia serve as an example for certain neighboring countries and regarded this as an important factor for security in the South Caucasus and the broader region.
