In Gyumri, an Opel Crashed into a Street Light and Trees; 5 Individuals Hospitalized
On August 6, at 01:41, the Shirak Regional Rescue Department’s Crisis Management Center received information regarding a traffic accident with an outbreak of fire on Yerevanian Highway in Gyumri.
A firefighting crew from the Ministry of Emergency Situations went to the scene. It was reported that an Opel vehicle (driver: V.A., born in 1998) had veered off the roadway and crashed into a street light, then into trees along the roadside.
Before the arrival of the rescuers, the driver and passengers H.P. (born in 1997), H.A. (born in 2000), T.G. (born in 1998), and G.G. (born in 2005) were hospitalized. Medical staff evaluated T.G.'s condition as critical, while the others were assessed as moderately severe.
The rescuers disconnected the vehicle from power, cordoned off the area, washed the road segment, and maintained surveillance until the gas cylinder was emptied.
