Israel Prepares Bunker for Leadership in Jerusalem: Walla
The Israeli General Security Service has built an underground bunker in Jerusalem. This was reported by the Walla portal.
According to the portal, the bunker has been prepared in a work regime against the anticipated attacks from Hezbollah and Iran.
As reported by Ynet, this decision was made based on the results of the Second Lebanon War, which took place in 2007. The official name of the bunkers is the National Crisis Management Center.
This bunker is protected against the threat of rockets and other weaponry, and its location and depth are kept confidential. The shelter is designed for several hundred people and is equipped with both living quarters and offices, as well as meeting halls.
There is also a command center in the bunker that connects with the complex of the Israeli Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv.
