Producers of Olympic Opening Ceremony File Complaint
The deputy director of the production company that organized the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games has filed a complaint regarding threats made against them. This information was reported by "Le Parisien." The company received several letters on August 2 containing insults and threats aimed at the artistic director Thomas Jolly and key leaders of the company. The letters specifically stated, "The punishment from Allah will befall the organizers."
The Paris prosecutor's office has launched an investigation in connection with Jolly's complaints. The messages he received included death threats related to origin and sexual orientation.
It is noteworthy that the ceremonial opening of the 33rd Summer Olympic Games took place on July 26 in the French capital, Paris. The event generated significant controversy, particularly due to a performance mimicking "The Mysterious Supper" by drag artists and a horse reminiscent of the harbinger of the Apocalypse.
