Israel Prepares for Possible Multi-Day Attack from Iran and Hezbollah
Israel is preparing for a potential multi-day attack from Iran and the Shiite militant group Hezbollah following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas's political bureau, as well as the liquidation of one of Hezbollah's military commanders. NBC News reports this information citing an Israeli official.
The official expressed concerns that in response to these events, missiles and drones could be launched towards the Jewish state within a matter of days.
Earlier, Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer stated during a CBS broadcast that the U.S. considers the threat level to Israel to be high and is prepared to assist the Jewish state in defending itself.
