At least 40 drones attacked Belgorod region in one day, casualties reported
During the past day, at least 40 Ukrainian drones have attacked the border districts of the Belgorod region, resulting in injuries to 8 civilians. This was reported by the Governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, on his Telegram channel.
According to him, on August 3, 85 shells were fired towards seven border districts of the Belgorod region, in addition to assaults involving 40 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). As a result, 8 people were injured, with three of them hospitalized.
Throughout the day, various degrees of damage were reported in three multi-apartment buildings, 59 private homes, commercial facilities, and nine vehicles.
The entire territory of the Belgorod region has been under a heightened (yellow) terrorist threat level since April 11, 2022.
It is worth reminding that Ukrainian forces regularly shell and assault various border regions of Russia with different types of weaponry, including UAVs, specifically targeting Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh regions.
