Maduro Accuses Musk of Attempting a Coup in Venezuela
The right-wing fascists, such as American businessman Elon Musk, are behind the failed coup attempt in Venezuela. This statement was made by President Nicolás Maduro during a press conference. He also drew parallels with the events of 2019 when several countries, including the U.S., recognized self-proclaimed president Juan Guaidó.
According to Maduro, Washington aims to stage "the second part of that film" in Venezuela. "This is a coup d'état led by the U.S. and right-wing fascists, such as Elon Musk and (Argentinian president Javier) Milei. They tried to create a new force using the election campaign. On one side, there are criminals, and on the other, Venezuelans, the opposition," the president said.
Earlier, Musk, who accepted Maduro's challenge to a duel, claimed he would take the Venezuelan leader to Guantanamo in Cuba. The latter invited the businessman to fight within the territory of the Bolivarian Republic.
