Footage: Police Officers Used Tear Gas and Then Assaulted Victim, Lawyer Claims

Police officers Arman Sireyan and Karen Karamyan have been identified as the perpetrators of violence against Aram Yeritsyan, who has been recognized as a victim in the ongoing criminal investigation. This information was shared by lawyer Roman Yeritsyan on his Facebook page, discussing the incident involving his brother.

“The aforementioned represents the hypothesis established in the criminal proceedings; however, in reality, these are the police officers who used tear gas against Aram Yeritsyan and then proceeded to assault him. In the first of the images, we see esteemed actor, or as he refers to himself, senior lieutenant of the police force Arman Sireyan. Upon hearing about the initiation of an internal investigation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he isolated himself from the police office under the pretext of going to the restroom, had a phone conversation with someone, and then exhibited his dramatic skills by urgently demanding hospitalization, justifying it with chest pains. Rest assured, about half an hour after being hospitalized, the police officer returned to performing his official duties, and the doctors were never able to determine the cause of the chest pains,” stated the lawyer.
