Fierce Gunfire Between Hezbollah and IDF at Lebanon-Israel Border
A fierce gunfire exchange occurred on Friday between the Hezbollah group and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the border region between Lebanon and Israel. Local military sources reported that heavy machine guns, artillery, and rockets were used, and airstrikes were carried out.
As of yet, there are no reports of casualties, according to sources who wished to remain anonymous. Israeli drones and military aircraft launched nine strikes on seven cities and villages in southern Lebanon, with three more targeting the Ermel and Al Qasir regions, as well as the Matraabi crossing along the Lebanon-Syria border, the sources have stated.
On Friday, Hezbollah announced that it shelled Israeli positions in Western Galilee using Katyusha rocket launchers, and also attacked positions in Al Rahabi, Al Marja, Bayad Blidi, and As Samaki.
