We Are Working on Our Response to Israel, Says Iranian Chief of Staff
The chief of staff of Iran, Mohammad Bagheri, has announced that Iran will not leave the blood of Ismail Haniya, the leader of the Palestinian Hamas movement's political bureau, unavenged. This is reported by Tasnim.
“We will not leave Haniya's blood unavenged. We are working on our response to Israel and will make Israel deeply regret it,” said Bagheri.
It is noteworthy that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in a televised address that Israel has inflicted 'devastating blows' on its enemies in recent days. “The three branches of the axis of evil are the Houthis, Hamas, and Hezbollah. In the past few days, we have dealt devastating blows to each of them and settled accounts with them. We will settle accounts with anyone who harms us or kills our children, our citizens. Anyone who harms our country will be responsible for their own death,” Netanyahu remarked.
On the evening of July 30, the Israeli army announced it had targeted Beirut, stating that a senior commander of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement, Fuad Shuqri, was killed in that operation. According to Israeli military officials, he was the right-hand man of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and was responsible for a recent attack on Israel that resulted in the deaths of 12 teenagers. Among the dead was an Iranian military advisor, Milad Beydin.
Meanwhile, on July 31, Ismail Haniya, the leader of the Palestinian Hamas movement's political bureau, was killed in Tehran. Hamas has blamed Israel for this assassination. Israel has not claimed responsibility for his death.
