Rain and Strong Winds: Weather Forecast Ahead

In certain regions of the Republic of Armenia, a short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected from August 1 to 4. This was reported by the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center.

The wind will be coming from the southeast at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with gusts expected during thunderstorms reaching 18-23 m/s.

In the evening hours, wind gusts of 17-20 m/s are anticipated in Armavir, as well as the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn.

The air temperature is expected to gradually increase by 4-6 degrees from August 3 to 5.

In some areas of Yerevan, short-term rain and thunderstorms may occur in the evening hours from August 1 to 3. Strong winds are also expected during thunderstorms at speeds of 18-22 m/s and 17-20 m/s in the evening hours.
