Gas Station, Mobile Gas Station, and Petrol Station Sealed in Yerevan and Regions

In Yerevan and Aragatcothn province, a gas station and a mobile gas station of 'ZIL' brand have been sealed, while a petrol station in Armavir province has been dismantled. This information was provided by the Inspectorate for Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety.

“Based on the directives of the head of the Inspectorate for Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety, specialists from the Inspection Authority conducted a fire technical inspection of hazardous production facilities belonging to the 'Carbon Group' LLC located at 109/10 Atoyan Street in Yerevan—the petrol station and the liquefied gas filling station, as well as the petrol station located at Ejmiatsin-Ashtarak highway in Ejmiatsin, Armavir province, to ensure compliance with normative-technical documentation requirements.

Numerous violations of fire safety normative documents were recorded at the aforementioned sites, posing a direct threat of fire outbreaks and jeopardizing the safety of lives and health of individuals.

A fire technical inspection was also conducted on the vehicle 'ZIL 431410' operating in the area adjacent to the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, which was equipped with devices for refueling vehicles with gas.

As a result, it was established that the 'ZIL 431410' vehicle, which was operated as a mobile filling station, is considered a hazardous production facility (HPF) and had not been registered in the Ministry of Internal Affairs' HPF registry nor undergone the annual technical safety examination as required.

Therefore, considering the risks and dangers associated with the violations of fire safety requirements, based on the decisions of the head of the Inspection Authority, the petrol station and liquefied gas filling station owned by 'Carbon Group' LLC at 109/10 Atoyan Street, along with the 'ZIL 431410' vehicle operating as a mobile filling station, have been sealed as a result of a joint effort by the Inspection Authority and the State Enforcement Service of the Republic of Armenia.

Additionally, the petrol station located at Ejmiatsin-Ashtarak highway in Ejmiatsin city of Armavir province has been completely dismantled through the cooperation of the Inspection Authority and the Vagharshapat community administration,” the statement read.
