Israeli Assassination Attempt Against Commander Fails: Hezbollah

The assassination attempt on Commander Fuad Shukr has failed, a source from the Hezbollah movement reported to RIA Novosti.

It is noted that the Israeli army struck Beirut in response to an attack in Majdal Shams, which resulted in the deaths of 12 children and injuries to about 30 others. Today's objectives of the IDF targeted the Hezbollah compound located south of Lebanon's capital.

According to the latest media reports, ten people were injured, and two civilians were killed. However, among the deceased is not Fuad Shukr, the senior military advisor to Hezbollah's Secretary-General, who is responsible for the development of missile weaponry projects.
