Erdogan Threatens to Invade Israel, Drawing Parallels to Actions in Nagorno-Karabakh and Libya

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has threatened to invade Israel to protect Palestine. “We need to be very strong so that Israel cannot do this to Palestine. Turkey can enter Israel just like it entered Nagorno-Karabakh and Libya. We will do the same with them. There is no reason not to do this,” Erdogan stated during a party meeting in the Rize province, as reported by the Haber television channel.

In response, Israel's Foreign Minister compared Erdogan to the executed Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein. “Erdogan is going down the path of Saddam Hussein and threatening to attack Israel. He should remember what happened in Iraq and how it all ended,” he was quoted as saying by the Times of Israel.
