31-Year-Old Mother Suspected of Abusing Her Daughter and Son

The Malatya division of the Police of the Republic of Armenia has opened a criminal investigation into "sexual violence" regarding a case that has been referred to the Malatya investigative division of the Yerevan city investigative department.

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, operational data was received by the Malatya division's juvenile affairs branch, which, upon verifying the information, revealed that a 31-year-old woman residing in Yerevan committed sexual violence against her 12-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son on June 23, 24, and 25 of this year, including mimicking sexual intercourse and fulfilling her sexual needs by exploiting the helplessness of the victims.

The police also discovered that these actions were filmed and sent to various users on the social media platform Facebook for the purpose of obtaining money and acquiring drugs.

According to site information, a report about all these events was filed by the children’s father to the Malatya division of the police. The police located and arrested the woman on suspicion, and subsequently, she was taken to the Malatya investigative division.

The 31-year-old woman has been transferred to the detention facility of the Yerevan city police department.
