Weather in Armenia
In certain regions of Armenia, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected after noon on July 23, with the possibility of hail, according to the Armenian Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center. The wind will be northwest at speeds of 2-4 m/s, increasing to 18-22 m/s during thunderstorms.
The air temperature will gradually rise by 2-4 degrees Celsius. In Yerevan, on July 23, dry weather is anticipated. During the day, temperatures in the capital will reach 33-35 degrees, while evening temperatures will drop to 26-28 degrees. Nighttime temperatures will see a low of 19-21 degrees.
In the Shirak region, daytime temperatures are expected to be between 24-29 degrees. The mountainous areas of the Kotayk region will register daytime temperatures of 24-27 degrees, while the foothill regions will see 31-33 degrees Celsius. In Gegharkunik, daytime temperatures will range from 23-27 degrees.
According to meteorological monitoring in the Lori region, daytime temperatures will fluctuate between 26-29 degrees Celsius. In the Tavush region, daytime temperatures are expected to reach 29-34 degrees. In the mountain areas of Aragatsotn, expect daytime temperatures between 23-27 degrees, with foothill regions heating up to 29-34 degrees.
In the Ararat region, daytime temperatures will rise to 35-37 degrees. Similarly, in Armavir, temperatures during the day will reach 34-36 degrees Celsius. In the mountainous areas of Vayots Dzor, daytime temperatures will be 25-27 degrees, while foothill areas will experience 34-36 degrees. In the valley regions of Syunik, daytime temperatures will range from 32-35 degrees, and in the foothill regions, temperatures will be between 26-29 degrees.
