This was stated by Sona Agekyan, a member of the 'Mother Armenia' alliance, on her Facebook page, where she also shared a video.

She noted specifically: 'If the municipality is counting on these covers to remove the puddles created by heavy rains, then Yerevan residents will be left in the puddles. How can rain, which resembles a flood, drain away through this small and bathroom-fixed drain cover, which is designed for use in closed spaces?'
