Iran's Foreign Ministry Accuses Europe of Miscalculations
The coldness in relations between Iran and Europe is a result of the European side's miscalculations, which are subjected to U.S. pressure. The independence of Europe's views could improve its relations with Tehran. This was stated by the official spokesman of Iran's Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanaani, during a weekly press conference with Nour News agency.
"The coldness in relations, in other words, the improper utilization of existing potential in bilateral relations, is not the result of Iran's approach, but rather the result of Europe’s miscalculations or being subjected to the pressure of the wrong policies of the U.S. government," Kanaani stated.
Kanaani emphasized that if Europe has independent views and focuses on its national interests in relations with Iran, the relationship between Tehran and European countries will improve.
