In One Night, 75 Drones Destroyed in Russian Skies: Russian Ministry of Defense

Russian air defense systems destroyed 75 Ukrainian drones across various regions of Russia during the night. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"During the night, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack on Russian territory using drones was thwarted by the air defense forces, which intercepted and destroyed 47 UAVs in Rostov, one in Belgorod, one in Voronezh, one in Smolensk, and eight in the Krasnodar region's airspace, as well as 17 UAVs over the waters of the Black and Azov seas," the statement said.

It is worth noting that Ukrainian forces regularly shell and conduct attacks using various means, including drones, on regions bordering Russia, particularly Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh.

Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022. President Vladimir Putin labeled it the defense of those who have been subjected to mockery and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years. According to him, the operation aims to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine and to prosecute all war criminals responsible for the "bloody crimes against peaceful residents of Donbas." In response, Western countries have imposed extensive sanctions against Russia.
