VIDEO: Asphalt Melts in Turkish Bodrum Due to Heat

Extreme heat is being experienced in Bodrum, Turkey, where temperatures remain above 40 degrees Celsius, causing asphalt to melt in several areas. This information was reported by TGRT Haber television.

"Turkey is battling against the hot weather. In Bodrum, the temperature has risen to 44 degrees in recent days, leading to the melting of asphalt. This has created difficulties for residents of rural areas as well as for drivers using these roads," the broadcaster reported.

"Next week, the temperature is expected to drop by 2-3 degrees," the report further elaborated.
