In mid-October, the Hadid family expressed concern over the negative backlash they have faced for their support of Palestine in the ongoing Hamas-Israel conflict. Entrepreneur Mohamed Hadid, his ex-wife Yolanda, and their children—models Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid—have reportedly been receiving threatening messages, making them anxious about their safety. They were disturbed by messages sent via email, social media, and SMS.

All family members have changed their phone numbers, and Mohamed Hadid has expressed a desire to file a complaint with the FBI.
