Bella Hadid to Sue Adidas After Controversial Advertisement
Supermodel Bella Hadid is preparing to file a lawsuit against Adidas following a controversial advertisement, according to TMZ. Reports indicate that Hadid has hired lawyers to present the case in court. The supermodel seeks to hold Adidas accountable for using her in their advertising campaign and embroiling her in scandal.
It is noted that the celebrity has not yet terminated her contract with the brand. Recently, Adidas issued an apology for promoting their shoes featuring the Palestinian model Bella Hadid. The brand launched the shoes in honor of the 1972 Munich Olympic Games, during which a terrorist incident occurred amid the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Bella Hadid has not publicly commented on the brand's statement. In mid-October, the Hadid family expressed concern over the negative backlash they have faced for their support of Palestine in the ongoing Hamas-Israel conflict. Entrepreneur Mohamed Hadid, his ex-wife Yolanda, and their children—models Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid—have reportedly been receiving threatening messages, making them anxious about their safety. They were disturbed by messages sent via email, social media, and SMS.
All family members have changed their phone numbers, and Mohamed Hadid has expressed a desire to file a complaint with the FBI.
