Florida Police Arrest Man for Threatening to Kill Trump
The police in Florida have arrested a man accused of making threats to kill former President Donald Trump and vice presidential candidate JD Vance, as well as their family members, according to a statement from law enforcement authorities.
“On Friday, July 19, the Juniper police arrested Michael Weissman on charges of written death threats after an investigation revealed that the suspect had posted written threats on social media directed at former President Donald Trump, Senator Vance, and their families,” the statement said.
Several residents of the city also expressed their concerns to the police regarding Weissman. The investigation has been conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Secret Service and the local prosecutor's office.
